Manlius Fire Chief Jansen Casscles addresses the inaugural class of the Recruit Firefighter Training (RFFT) academy sponsored by Manlius, Fayetteville, DeWitt, and Endicott fire departments. Chiefs Jason Green (DeWitt) and Paul Hildreth (Fayetteville) look on as the dozen-plus students begin their 12-week course under the direction of retired Utica Deputy Chief Brendan Dunn.
