Ashley Pigg completes her Ourtdoor Emergency Care Training

Congratulations to FFD volunteer member EMT Ashley Pigg, who recently completed her Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) training and is now recognized as a ski “patroller”. Her next step is to complete training to be recognized as a “Nordic Patroller”. Additional training includes nordic skiing, remote patient packaging, and transport, sheltering/fire building, land navigation, and low angle rope rescue skills. Ashley’s many skills as an EMT help with her ski patrol training and her ski patrol training helps in her emergency services role with the FFD
